Description
For your consideration is this Glashutte Original PanoMaticCalendar, a timepiece that embodies the highest level of German watchmaking art and craft. The watch has an incredible range of features including a stunning multi-level blue dial, moon-phase display, bi-directional automatic winding, running small seconds and annual calendar function with date and month display which only has to be set once per year. The red gold case has polished and satin-brushed surfaces that work together in perfect harmony to give the watch an unbeatable air of elegance. In hand, the watch feels extremely solid and well built. When you sit in a cheap car and then jump into a high-end Mercedes you can immediately see and feel the difference, and this is the watch equivalent of that feeling. The bezel on this watch is also worthy of special mention. It's an overlooked feature, and in fact most won't notice it, but the bezel on this one is concave, not rounded. Visually, the result is almost the same, but in practice this design makes it much harder to scratch, and even if you do you likely won't notice. This is in contrast to watches with rounded gold bezels which tend to be scratch magnets. The calibre 92-09 powering the watch is visible through the sapphire case-back and is a beautiful visual feast. There's a lot going on here; three-quarter plate with stripe finish, duplex-swan-neck fine adjustment system, skeletonised rotor with 12-carat gold oscillation weight, bevelled edges on all the plates, polishing steel parts and blued screws. To top it off, it features a hand-engraved balance bridge which is a signature feature of the brand. The watch is fitted on a brown alligator nubuk leather strap and matching red gold folding clasp for extra comfort and security on the wrist.

Condition
The watch is in superb, almost like-new condition. There are only extremely fine signs of wear visible upon close inspection.

The original manufacturer’s warranty is valid until March 2025.
