Features include stainless steel Oyster case, hours, minutes, running centre-seconds, SuperLuminova luminous material in the hour markers and hands and screw-down Twinlock crown ensuring up to 100 metres of water resistance. Powering the watch is the workhorse Chronometer-certified Rolex calibre 3000 featuring 48 power reserve, 27 jewels, bi-directional automatic winding and hacking seconds. We can confirm the watch has been recently serviced and is in excellent working order. While there are a number of different versions of the 36mm Explorer, the reference 14270 is perhaps the best value of them all. It packs in all the iconic features that the Explorer is known for at an extremely affordable price point.
