Description

For your consideration is this Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 in black and Oystersteel. The 39mm range of Oyster Perpetual's are now discontinued (maybe forever?) and there are no equivalent sized watches in Rolex's current range, making these highly desirable and unique.

In addition, this black dial variation has just about got it all. It's tough, water-resilient and has a highly legible no-nonsense design. Unlike later versions, this 39mm model with has single batton hour markers, which gives the dial a completely symmetrical appearance. If you're looking for a minimalist Rolex timepiece suitable for wear in all occasions, there are few better options out there.

Features include an Oyster case with screw-down crown that is water-resistant up to 100 metres, running centre seconds and Chromalight luminous material on the minute + hour hands and hour indexes.

The Oyster bracelet provides comfort and security on the wrist. The folding clasp features what is perhaps Rolex’s most user-friendly clasp system, with the clasp having a spring-loaded tilting head that can be operated with just a single finger to open and close the clasp.

Powering the watch is the COSC Chronometer Certified Rolex calibre 3132, featuring bi-directional automatic winding, 48 hour power reserve, Parachrom hairspring and hacking seconds function.

The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers.

Condition

The watch is in overall excellent condition, with just light wear visible on the case and bracelet.
