Description

This Rolex Submariner Date reference 126610LN-0001, was released by Rolex in August of 2020 and features a number of very subtle upgrades (in typical Rolex fashion) that take the iconic Submariner to new heights. This is the flagship watch of the entire Submariner range, and is a watch that every watch collector should get to own and experience at some point in their life.

The most obvious change to the watch is the larger case diameter (41mm) compared to previous models, following the trend towards larger watches in recent years. As well, the slightly wider bracelet is flanked by two case lugs with a slimmer profile.

The watch is fitted on a matching steel Oyster bracelet and Oysterlock clasp with Glidelock adjustment system, allowing the bracelet length to be rapidly adjusted on the go without special tools.

Powering the watch is the COSC Chronometer-Certified calibre 3235 featuring bi-directional automatic winding, Parachrom hairspring, Chronergy escapement, 70-hours power reserve, hacking seconds and quick-set date function.

It all makes for a watch that sets the standard when it comes to high-end diving watches. Rolex is known for only doing subtle upgrades to their watches over the years, but one must ask, what sort of drastic update could they possibly make to a watch that’s already so perfect? With its unmatched reliability, toughness and subtle but strong looks, there is no better watch better for daily wear in any situation. Few watches even come close.

The watch is in excellent condition, showing only very light signs of wear.
