Description
For your consideration is this extremely rare and desirable uni-sex Cartier Santos Dumont CPCP in solid 18K yellow gold. Features include a solid 18k yellow gold case, 18K yellow gold bezel, guilloche dial that reads "Cartier Paris" (indicative of the CPCP era), iconic heat tempered blue sword hands and yellow gold crown with Cabochon gem. Powering the watch is the Cartier manual-wind calibre 021 that is based on the Frédéric Piguet 21, which was the thinnest movement available at the time of manufacture (just 1.75mm thick!), allowing the entire watch to measure in at under 5mm. Despite its thinness, the movement has a very respectable power reserve of around 40 hours.
