For your consideration is this rare and extremely attractive Cartier Tank Normale Paris, a truly timeless and iconic timepiece that has been the subject of fascination for decades since its release. The watch features a solid 18k yellow gold case with dimensions of 20x28mm, which would suit any lady with a small-medium wrist. The dial is classic Cartier Tank. Nothing really needs to be said about it, except that since its origin the design has remained the same, and will do so until the end of time. They got it perfect from day one, a very, very rare occurence in watchmaking. The fact that the dial is signed "Paris" (instead of the standard "Swiss") adds an extra level of charm, and is a detail coveted by Cartier enthusiasts. Serious watch enthusiasts and purists will also love the fact that the watch is powered by Cartier's mechanical calibre 78-1, as opposed to the quartz movements which are most prevalent in Cartier Tank's of this size released from the early 80's onwards. The watch has just a complete service and restoration and is covered by Cartier's two-year service warranty until August 2025. It is fitted on a brand-new black alligator leather strap.
