Description

Frederique Constant Geneve in its current form was established in 1988 with their first collection previewing in 1992. From its humble beginnings, Frederique Constant focused on producing ‘affordable, high-quality classical watches’. Frederique Constant is based in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland and operates out of a purpose-built state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. 

In 2009 Frederique Constant collaborated with the Milan Based Riva Historical Society (RHS): a Society dedicated to preserving the classic 1920’s Runabout hand-crafted wooden powerboats. Each year FC produces a Limited-Edition Runabout timepiece.

On offer is this limited edition (2,888 pieces) timepiece that has a 42mm stainless steel case, navy-blue dial and automatic movement. The dial has a classic hobnail guilloche pattern and applied silver indexes. The finer details include Arabic numerals, hand polished silver-luminous hands, date window at 6 o’clock and an outer rim minutes display.

The see-through sapphire case back reveals the FC-303 automatic calibre and the RHS pavilion. The movement has a power reserve of 38-hours, 26 jewels and 28,800 alt/h.

The watch is fitted with a Frederique Constant navy-leather strap and stainless steel folding clasp.

The watch is in excellent, like-new condition and comes as a complete-set in a limited-edition wooden box featuring a miniature replica of a runabout yacht that pays tribute to the elegant roaring twenties sports boats. Also included is a pair of FC gloves and FC catalogue.

The watch has been tested and inspected for performance and is in excellent working condition. Hailwood Peters guarantees the watch for authenticity. The original manufacturer's warranty is valid until October 2021. Hailwood Peters provides an additional one-year warranty on the watch from the date of purchase.
