Description
Matte black dial with luminous hour markers + hands, central chronograph seconds and chronograph minutes, running small seconds, 24-hour and 12-hour counters, day and date display, internal tachymeter scale, automatic winding and 45 hour power reserve. It is one of the most iconic watches in all of watchmaking, being the first ever all-black watch, and also as the watch worn by Tom Cruise as "Maverick" in the original, and most recent, Top Gun movies. The case and bracelet has developed an extremely attractive patina, with a uniform gunmetal type finish across all surfaces.
Condition
The watch is preserved in overall very good condition commensurate with its age, with visible wear on the case and bracelet as should be expected, but no major signs of dents or knocks. The watch had a complete service by Max Schweizer Swiss Watch Service in September 2026.
Warranty
Two-year Max Schweizer Swiss Watch Service warranty valid until September 2028.
