Description
The Rolex Explorer 124270 is a watch without any showy elements or extraneous features. It’s a simple watch, made to do one thing and do it extremely well, and is perfectly suited to a so-called ‘one-watch’ collection. It has been labelled a “perfect watch” by many pundits, and we couldn’t agree more. The watch is powered by Rolex’s in-house calibre 3230 introduced in 2020 featuring automatic winding, Paramagnetic Parachrom hairspring, Chonergy escapement, hacking seconds and 70 hour power reserve. The movement is an officially certified Superlative Chronometer, guaranteeing superb timekeeping performance. The watch is fitted on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock folding clasp. The clasp features Rolex’s patented Easylink extension system, allowing the wearer to easily adjust the bracelet by up to 5mm without the use of any tools. The watch is in almost like-new condition. There are only extremely minor signs of wear visible upon close inspection, but otherwise the watch could almost pass as unworn. The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers. The watch has been tested and inspected for performance and is in excellent working condition. Hailwood Peters guarantees the watch for authenticity. The original manufacturer's warranty is valid until March 2027.
