For your consideration is this Rolex GMT-Master II with black/red ”Coke“ bezel. 5-digit Rolexes (16710) fall into neo-vintage category of watches which have exploded in popularity in recent years, and this particular piece is an excellent example of what makes them so captivating. The watch comes from the pre 2010’s era where Rolex made cases in much more wearable - for the average person - case dimensions, with a case diameter of 40mm and thickness of 12mm, making it sit low, flat and flush on the wrist – a real pleasure to wear. Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3185 with independently-set GMT hand, hacking-seconds, bi-directional automatic winding and Breguet overcoil hairspring + microstella regulation screws to ensure excellent timekeeping.
