Description

As Rolex’s most complicated timepiece, the Sky-Dweller commands attention. First introduced in 2012, it is the newest model in the brand’s stellar product line and one that stands out well and truly from the rest.

This two-tone Rolesor example with black dial and Rolesor Oyster bracelet is an extremely compelling offering, treading the line between a formal dress watch and sports watch. Its versatility makes it a perfect everyday watch for those who frequently travel or do business across multiple time zones.

The annual calendar function (the watch only needs to be set once per year, and will intelligently switch the date over at the end of each month) was a long requested feature, and it goes without saying that Rolex could have easily made such a watch much earlier, but in typical Rolex fashion, they took their time and came out with something that completely changed the game.

The patented rotating Ring Command bezel allows one to easily set the watch and all calendar functions without the use of any special tools, and does so in an extremely subtle way. Unless told, few would be able to guess that the bezel can be rotated to set the watch. In addition to the annual calendar, the watch has an off-centre rotating 24-hour disc that operates as a GMT function that can be independently set. The Sky-Dweller has a level of complexity generally only found on watches 10x its price point.

The watch is fitted on stainless steel/yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with folding clasp and Easy-Link extension system.

Condition

The watch is in excellent condition, showing light signs of wear on the case and bracelet.

Warranty

The original manufacturer’s warranty is valid until March 2027.
