Description
This Rolex Submariner ‘No Date’, reference 124060, was released by Rolex in August of 2020 and features a number of subtle upgrades done in typical Rolex fashion that take the iconic Submariner to new heights. The most obvious change to the watch is the larger case diameter (41mm) compared to previous models, following the trend towards larger watches in recent years. As well, the slightly wider bracelet is flanked by two case lugs with a slimmer profile. Powering the watch is the new automatic calibre 3230 that has a longer 70-hour power reserve and features Rolex’s latest ‘chronergy’ escapement. Rolex boasts that the movement performs more reliably and efficiently than ever, maintaining and extremely accurate rate of -2/+2 and doing so for longer intervals between services. It all makes for a watch that sets the standard when it comes to high-end diving watches. Rolex is known for only doing subtle upgrades to their watches over the years, but one must ask, what sort of drastic update could they possibly make to a watch that’s already so perfect? With its unmatched reliability, toughness and subtle but strong looks, there is no better watch better for daily wear in any situation. Few watches even come close. The watch is in almost like-new condition, with only extremely light signs of wear visible on the watch. The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers.
