Description

This Rolex Yacht-Master in “Rolesium” – a combination of platinum and stainless steel – is a nautical ladies watch from 2010 preserved in incredible condition.

The design is classic Yacht-Master, nothing off the beaten path here, just a watch that is elegant in its simplicity, highly legible and tough as nails.

Rolex no longer manufactures the Yacht-Master with this design or 29mm size, making it perfect for a lady who has a smaller wrist or one who just prefers a smaller sized watch.

The watch case and bracelet are made from Rolex’s Oystersteel alloy which has excellent anti-corrosive properties and polishes to a much higher shine than regular 316L steel. The platinum bezel and dial have a frosted finish giving the watch a careful balance of matte and polished surfaces

The watch has a “G” serial which dates it to 2010 – the last year Rolex produced serial numbers that allow one to date the watch. From 2011 onwards, all Rolex serial numbers were scrambled.

The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 2235. A marvel of engineering, the movement has all the features and reliability that Rolex movements are known for despite its reduced formfactor. The movement is automatic-winding, has a date feature and is certified as a Swiss Chronometer, having passed the precision timekeeping requirements set by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

The watch is in brand-new, unworn condition. The watch is New Old Stock (NOS) and still has all the original factory stickers on the watch and bracelet. We’ve checked; this watch appears to be the only one on the market anywhere in the world in this brand-new NOS condition.

The watch comes as a complete set with box, papers, manuals and hang tags. The watch was bought locally and has sat in the safe for its entire life.

An extremely rare and seldom seen timepiece, this watch is perfectly suited for a lady that spends her time by (or on) the ocean, and would also serve as a perfect present for a sailor’s wife.

The watch has been tested and inspected for performance and is in excellent working condition. Hailwood Peters guarantees the watch for authenticity. Hailwood Peters provides a one-year warranty on the watch.
