Description
For your consideration is this Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix, a perfect everyday watch with an attractive retro-contemporary design. As one of watchmaking's "trinity" brands, it almost goes without saying that the build quality of this timepiece is superb. The case profile features clean lines all around, with all the elements including crown, lugs and caseback neatly integrated . The lugs are gently curved downwards, making the watch sit comfortably and low on the wrist. The all-silver dial is inspired by a model from 1956, and yet it appears thoroughly modern. This is a watch that defines low-key elegance and sophistication. Visible through the sapphire display caseback six the Vacheron Constantin calibre 1326 featuring bi-directional automatic winding, quick-set date function and 48 hour power reserve (exceptional for a movement only 4.3mm thick). The movement is beautifully finished using a variety of techniques including Cotes de Geneve, anglage and radial sunburst finishes, and to top it off the automatic rotor is rendered in solid 22k gold with Maltese cross emblem. The watch is in excellent condition, showing only very light signs of wear. The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers. The watch has been tested and inspected for performance and is in excellent working condition. Hailwood Peters guarantees the watch for authenticity.
